I provide secretarial support to the Partners, Financial Planners and Paraplanners:

I deal with all secretarial duties for BpH Wealth to ensure that the office runs smoothly.  This includes proof reading and finalising reports for clients, as I have a keen eye for attention to detail, as well as all general office duties.  I am focused, calm and able to work under pressure due to prioritising my workload which is key to keeping everyone happy!

I enjoy coming to work every day in an environment that is friendly, flexible and above all working for people who appreciate you.

Time with us:

I joined BpH Wealth in October 1989, having previously worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAFF) which relocated to York.  I then took on temporary work for a year at various offices in and around Hertfordshire.  I temped twice at BpH Wealth before Michael asked if I would like to join them on a permanent basis.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Office Studies

In my spare time:

I enjoy spending time with my teenage children, going to the theatre, cinema and eating out.  I also enjoy reading and anything to do with Disney!

Q&A with Caroline

1. What did you study?

I went to St Albans College and studied Office Studies and on passing received a Diploma.

2. When did you discover BpH Wealth and why did you join?

I was working for MAFF in Harpenden when I decided to relocate to Letchworth for personal reasons. I temped in and around Hertfordshire for a year as my plans never came to fruition. I temped twice at BpH to cover Michael’s secretary when she was on holiday and when she announced she was leaving, Michael asked if I would like to take over her role on a permanent basis. 30+ years later, I have never looked back.

3. What do you particularly like about BpH Wealth?

BpH Wealth is like an extended family, who care about their staff as much as the clients. Michael is always there to lend an ear, if needed, or indeed a shoulder to cry on if there have been emotional upsets in our personal lives. The office is a happy environment to work in and all staff are friendly and helpful. BpH are also very flexible in that I was able to attend both my children’s plays/shows/carol concerts every time they were on and never missed a single one!

4. What’s on your bucket list?

I love elephants and one day hope to see them in their natural habitat by going on safari to Kenya. I am also hoping to travel the Settle – Carlisle Steam Train route as a tribute to my dad, who loved steam trains but never got to do this while he was alive. Having recently returned from a month long trip to Australia visiting relatives and taking in 4 states along with a 5 day road trip, we are already starting to plan our next adventure there!
