I joined BpH Wealth in October 2020
Having initially been taken on to develop the online brand of BpH Wealth I now split my role between this and supporting advisers with their work with clients. I also focus on improving client communication and I devise and work on changes to build a more sustainable business that operates for the best interest of our clients and the wider community.
I am proud to have coordinated our successful application for B Corp certification, and am working to explore further ways we can make the BpH Wealth work better for People and Planet.
I enjoy working with the advisers to produce educational content for clients and the wider public. I believe it is crucial that everyone has a good level of financial knowledge to be able to live the life they want and it is really important for us as a company to use the expertise we have to help people in this way.
My work as a Client Services Assistant
My main responsibilities include preparing valuations for clients and carrying out investment dealing. I also support Phillip, adviser, by being client’s first point of contact and with helping to draft letters, emails and other communication with clients.
I am very interested in the finance industry and I am studying for exams in my spare time. I have already completed my CISI Level two exam on ‘The Fundamentals of Financial Services’ and my level three exam on the ‘Introduction to Securities and Investment’. I am now studying for a CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, for which I have completed two further exams.
My work with the charity committee
I was thrilled to be nominated by the charity committee to become chair in early 2024. So far, we have expanded BpH’s charitable commitments, committing both financial support and manpower to assist two amazing local charities, as voted on by the team. From 2024 onwards, everyone at BpH gets one working day’s worth of volunteering hours which they can use with our partner charities or with a charity of their choice.
For the next few years, we are supporting the King’s Pantry, a Harpenden based foodbank and the Hygiene Bank, which gets soaps, shampoos, oral and feminine hygiene products to those in desperate need in Harpenden, Luton and St Albans.
